Course overview

The British Racing School are world leaders in Jockey Training and provide training for a large number of countries around the world

The Overseas Apprentice course is extremely popular and in the past we have taught delegates from Sweden, Denmark, Switzerland and Lithuania. The course is taught by our Senior Jockey Coach, Richard Perham who has extensive experience and qualifications in jockey coaching.

Jockeys will be taught using our state of the art equipment and will ride our ex-racehorses daily. The course is five days, fully residential and includes riding, video analysis, simulator training, fitness assessment and advice, diet and nutrition advice, and the UK Racing Rules and Regulations. Applications should be made by the racing authority (Jockey Club) wishing to send riders for this training.
