Yard Managers Course

Course Overview

The Yard Managers course is suitable for anyone who currently supervises staff in a racing yard or stud farm

This course is run over two days and covers aspects of:

Handling conflict
Employment law
Team building
Styles of leadership

The course isn’t just a ‘sit down and listen’ course; delegates are encouraged to get involved in discussion and practical tasks.

(Please note, this course does not cover topics relating to horse care)

Course Requirements

This course is suitable for anyone who is working in a supervisory position at a yard or stud farm

The content of this course is aimed at delegates with industry experience.

Course costs


The costs for this course are fully funded for anyone already working within the industry. People working outside racing can apply privately at a cost of £352. B&B accommodation can also be provided at an additional cost of £35.
