We’re delighted to announce that BRS Gradaute Levi Bedford has become our second Ambassador, and joins fellow graduate Jamie Neild on our first ever Ambassador team.
Levi, 20, graduated from the Residential course in March 2020 and went straight to work for William Haggas in Newmarket to complete his Apprenticeship training.
“I’m proud to become an Ambassador for the British Racing School, it was a happy time for me and got me my dream job working for Mr Haggas”
Levi was born in Luton then moved to the Midlands where he spent most of his school years before moving to Tunisia for 3 years when he was 13, and he still thinks of Tunisia as home.
His mum bought him a Shetland when he was 3 and it was her that taught him to ride, but he gave it up when they moved to Tunisia.
Levi hopes to show young people that a career in racing is possible for anyone and everyone, regardless of background and experience.
Fellow ambassador, Jamie Neild said “I’m delighted to welcome Levi to the team as the second BRS ambassador. Really excited to be working alongside him to help spread the word about the BRS. Congratulations Levi”.
Grant Harris, BRS CEO “Levi enjoyed his time at the school, landed a plum job and is excelling in the workplace. I’m sure Levi will be an inspirational advocate for the BRS”.
You can follow Jamie and Levi on Instagram and they’ll always be happy to answer any questions you have about our courses or working in Horseracing:
