The British Racing School has long been a recognized market leader in training both stable staff and jockeys across the world.
Over the past 40 years, the school has welcomed groups and individual, international riders, each attending for their own personal and professional reasons, whether that be improving their fitness or knowledge, all-round riding ability or for the opportunity to experience and train in Newmarket, the home of horseracing.
With a proven track record in working with top jockeys, and with their own successful careers behind them, the jockey coaches at the British Racing School are second to none in terms of quality. Coupled with the opportunity for riders to experience the excitement of riding out for a Newmarket-based trainer throughout their time at the School, the International Riders Course is a chance to be fully immersed in British horseracing.
The fitness suites and facilities at BRS are top class and sessions are tailored towards jockey-specific fitness. Numerous suites of racehorse simulators are imperative to the course, and riders receive regular simulator training from the team of coaches. With nutrition, horse racing knowledge and race reading lectures, the course offers a fully rounded package to enhance and improve every aspect of a rider’s career.
Having previously worked with riders from Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Qatar, USA, Germany and many more countries, the team at the School are able to advise on visa requirements and travel plans, making the organisation of attending the course a seamless process.
A number of International riders have been present at BRS across this summer, with female Qatari rider Kadija Albastaki also having the privilege of riding in the prestigious Magnolia Cup at Goodwood. The School is now accepting applications for the course during the summer months of 2024.
