HR Administrator

£18,000 per annum for 21hrs per week (£30,000 FTE)

The British Racing School is the leading training provider for the Horseracing Industry. We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Human Resources Administrator to assist our HR Director. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting various HR functions, ensuring the efficient management of employee data and contributing to a positive workplace culture. This position requires strong organisational skills. The role is for 21 hrs per week, we can be flexible on which days are worked, the salary offered reflects 21 hrs work (£30,000 FTE).

Duties

  • Manage employee records and maintain the Human Resources Information System to ensure data accuracy and compliance with OFSTED.
  • Assist with recruitment processes, including job postings,and coordinating interviews.
  • Support onboarding processes for new hires, including induction and training coordination.
  • Conduct data entry tasks related to employee information, benefits administration, and performance management.
  • Collaborate with other areas of the school to ensure smooth HR operations and provide support for employee inquiries.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information while adhering to company policies and regulations.

Skills

  • Proficiency in Human Resources practices and principles, preferably at least Level 3 CIPD qualified.
  • Strong data entry skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, enabling effective interaction with employees at all levels.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and software applications related to HR functions.
