Yard Assistant
£27,500 per annum
Full time role, yard based in Newmarket, Suffolk
The BRS require a Yard Assistant to support the coaches with riding and horse care lessons as well as undertaking the usual variety of jobs required in a racing yard. A rider would be preferred but a non-rider will be considered if they have extensive horse care knowledge and experience.
The hours will be 06.30 to 12.30 and 15.00 to 17.00 Mon to Friday. Additionally you will be required to work 1 weekend in 4.

Administrator – Rider Development Pathway
£26,000 FTE
Part Time Role – Circa 25 hrs per week, office based in Newmarket, Suffolk
A confident, diligent and reliable administrator is required to coordinate the Rider Development Pathway and Jockey Courses at the BRS.
The role involves telephoning jockeys, trainers and racing officials therefore a confident phone manner and excellent customer service are a priority. Good knowledge of Microsoft office systems and a systematic approach to admin work are a must.
