This is a one day practical course at The British Racing School for anyone who wants to work with horses.
By the end of the course a candidate should be able to understand the risks associated with handling horses, especially those that are excited or stressed. They will have a basic understanding of horse behaviour and demonstrate practical skills in horse handling, such as replacing a bridle, putting on a head collar, creating a makeshift halter, holding and leading a horse.
However, a keen interest in horses and a desire to learn is essential! Minimum numbers apply, we need at least four people to book as a group.
This cost covers tuition, course materials, lunch and refreshments.
