Training Days are run on a level based system. Levels 1 to 3, plus Advanced Training Courses are available. Level One is mandatory as it acts as an assessment day for health and safety reasons. On completion of this day each rider and pony combination are assessed and then invited to attend another training day at the level we feel is suitable.
To be exempt from the Level One Assessment you must be 12 years or older and have already competed in a P2P or Racecourse Series race (Pony Club races do not count).
Attendance on a Level 3 Training Day qualifies you to ride in Point-to-Point and Pony Club Pony Races. You can also qualify for the Racecourse Series by passing the Level 3 training with us on the pony that you wish to race in the series, and having ridden the required amount of winners.
