Animal welfare legislation requires that those who transport horses in connection with an economic activity on journeys over 65kms MUST hold a Certificate of Competence, such as a Level 2 Award in the principles of transporting horses by road on short journeys (formerly CET) or Level 2 Award in the principles of transporting horses on long journeys (Attendant or Attendant/Driver, formerly ACET).
The British Racing School regularly holds exams and assessments for candidates wishing to gain this qualification, use the tab above to find out when the next one takes place and book your place.
Experience in handling racehorses is also necessary.
Cancellation Policy: Unfortunately, we cannot offer a refund once a qualification registration has been processed.
