Three riders from The British Racing School ‘s newly formed team by students on the Flexible Learning Program (FLP) competed for the first time together in the National Schools Equestrian Associations (NSEA) show in Essex on the 1st February. They all rode fabulous rounds in huge classes. A great outing.
Leah Milne riding her lovely pony Georgia had 2 fantastic rounds in both classes but was sadly out of the placings. Will Flinton on his young mare Billy Rue jumped 3 fabulous rounds with a placing in the 1.10, which we’re delighted to say has gained them two qualifications. Hickstead Elite in August and the Schools National Championships in October.. Jack Wilmot and his racing pony Istamouse were 2nd from 58 starters in the 85cm Eventers Challenge and have qualified for Hickstead in May, had an unlucky pole in the 95cm, and a stumble in the Royal Windsor qualifier was very costly.
A great day was had by all and we look forward to following their progress in future competitions.
