It is with great sadness we let you know that this morning we bid farewell to Tanager.
Tanager was brilliant for beginners, and will be remembered by 100’s of you, without doubt, as a real gentle giant with a huge stride.
The 23 old gelding got cast in his stable during the night and suffered a twisted gut so the kindest thing to do was to allow him to go to sleep. He owed The BRS nothing; he’d been a superstar for us and had helped many inexperienced riders get through difficulties.
We would also like to take this opportunity to thank Mr Lawther for allowing us to have Tanager for all these years.
