Following a successful introduction as a two-year course, the Horseracing Industry Degree, co-hosted by Hartpury University and the British Racing School as developed to include and additional year. On completion of the course, students will now achieve a BSc (Hons) Horseracing Industry Degree.
The programme has been designed specifically for those passionate about the horseracing industry and who wish to work towards or continue a lifelong career in the sport. Tailored for those already working in the industry, the curriculum covers a range of topics including racehorse health and nutrition, race planning, performance analysis, and the structure and administration of the horseracing industry.
With a course structure designed to be accessible to those already working in full-time roles, the programme includes weekend teaching sessions, intensive courses and home-study. Students can expect to spend time onsite at both BRS and Hartpury University.
